Mila is a major producer of Italian milk and dairy products, acknowledged for its very high quality and genuineness.
The cooperative consists of over 2,000 farmer members who, generation after generation, continue with traditional breeding and production methods for milk from the South Tyrolean mountains.
At the processing and packaging plants, this genuineness is protected by strict hygiene inspections and by a constant drive towards innovation to safeguard – with research and technological support – the unmistakable genuine taste of Mila products.

The experience with Galdi
The manufacturing of the new packaging plant for Mila resulted from a mutual and collaborative effort that involved Galdi technicians working hand in hand with Mila specialists.
The plant was developed and fine-tuned to fully meet shared goals, first and foremost food safety and the utmost respect for the organoleptic properties of products.
Galdi provided full support for the project, by putting in place strategic internal resources for its full implementation: from developing the production layout to integrating the packaging machines with the in-house management system.
The experience was also challenging: in particular, aerial installation of the two packaging machines on the second floor of the Mila factory, which was carried out safely thanks to careful handling and coordination.
Today, Mila boasts a new fresh milk plant equipped with two latest generation Gable Top packaging machines – Galdi RG280 – which guarantee efficiency, packaging flexibility and maximum user-friendliness.
