Newburg Egg

Founded in 1956 and now in its third generation, Newburg Egg has chosen to serve a specific market segment: that of the highest quality egg products.

This positioning is supported by constant research and strict controls. Annual production is approx. 180 million lbs. of eggs.

Liquid egg packaged in Gable Top is distributed primarily to the U.S. East Coast - with a presence in the Midwest as well - with supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries and food companies.

The main formats are:

• 32 oz / 2 lb / 908 g
• 16 oz / 1 lb / 454 g

Egg products in Gable Top have an average shelf life of 60 up to 90 days. The future goal is to further increase shelf life.

• Associate their premium products with greater appeal packaging than the plastic bottle or bag-in-box
• Best preserve the highest quality of egg products
• Handle multiple formats with the same machine to serve market demands

The partnership with Galdi began in 2019 and led to the installation of the first RG270 liquid egg packing machine in the United States (2020).

Satisfied with the efficiency and reliability of the packaging system-as well as with the support of our technicians from our subsidiary in the US, in 2023 Newburg Egg kicks off the project to install a second liquid egg packaging machine (startup in the first half of 2024).

Thanks to regular maintenance, after 4 years of installation, the first packaging machine continues to deliver high efficiency levels, enabling Newburg Egg to ensure on-time deliveries and service excellence for its customers.

The already installed system fully satisfies the required hygienic standards while the interface with simplified and guided controls makes the packaging machine "super user friendly" for operators and maintainers, digitally as much as ergonomically.
