[EVENT] VIR2EM: Sharing innovation!
The VIR2EM project brought businesses and universities together with the goal of sharing innovations in the field of virtualization. The results of the project were presented during an event held at the Galdi Village.
Virtualization, innovation, sharing: these are the key words of the event organised by RIR IMPROVENET, Veneto's Regional Innovation Network for Smart Manufacturing, which was held on September 6, 2022 at the Galdi Village, Galdi Village, a place to fill. The R&D projects carried out within the VIR2EM programme (Virtualization and Remotization for Resilient and Efficient Manufacturing) were presented during the event.
ABOUT VIR2EM
Started in September 2020, VIR2EM brought together local companies and the research sector, particularly the following higher education institutions:
- Department of Information Engineering, University of Padua
- Department of Informatics, University of Verona
- Department of Management & Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics, "Ca’ Foscari" University of Venice
The goal of the collaboration was the promotion of "virtualization and remotization for effective and resilient manufacturing".
As part of its contribution to VIR2EM, Galdi focused on 4 research themes. This work led to some very interesting innovations, which will be the topic of our next article.
All the projects carried out by participating companies, including Galdi, were officially presented during the event, with the goal of promoting knowledge transfer across industries.
And it’s also with this goal in mind that participating organisations will have the opportunity to exchange visits to their respective headquarters. This will enable them to see research applications first-hand, share new insights and provide training support!
We are proud to have hosted the event at the Galdi Village, a place to fill, which has once again proved to be an ideal place to host innovation and promote sharing!
