Galdi celebrates 40 years of history, from its outset with the first model to the latest generation packaging machines. Yet, its approach has not changed: it is always forward-looking
A space in the production area houses a machine that appears to be from another era.
It is the first machine by Galdi, model no. 001 manufactured in 1985.
We like to imagine that the small filling machine looks with curiosity and also a little affection at the new generation models, equipped with technological solutions that were unthinkable at that time.
Everything has changed since 1985, except our approach: the same desire to improve, experiment, be bold and better than yesterday while always remaining true to ourselves.
In this spirit we are starting our 40th year in business, keeping an eye on the past and our curiosity always focused on the future.
5 reasons for celebrating
1. We are continuing to grow
Over the past year, 16 new employees have joined the Galdi team and we have increased the number of technicians and specialists covering foreign markets, particularly in the USA with our branch Galdi Inc..
With the diverse skills of our team, we can offer a specialised consulting service for developing complete projects: from selecting packaging to microbiological analysis and assistance with installing new packaging lines.
2. The Galdi range is expanding and innovating
Over the last 5 years, we have launched 3 models on the market that belong to the new generation of packaging machines by Galdi.
With the application of digital technologies, packaging systems have indeed entered a new era of efficiency and productivity, as a result of monitored performance, smart systems and our digital services.
We aim to ensure steady production, maximum security and peace of mind for our clients.
New operator interfaces (HMI) also ensure user-friendliness and ongoing optimisation, thanks to guided procedures and processes constantly under control.
3. We are responsibly developing
Year after year, we are increasingly aware of the positive impact that we can have on the environment, on people and the local area. In our Code of Ethics, we have included the principles that we intend to promote in terms of ethical and responsible governance, which involves employees and suppliers.
4. We are expanding our space
To support our growth and improve logistics, we are working on expanding our production facility. This project will allow us to optimize workflows, improve operational efficiency and develop new technological solutions for increasingly advanced and high-performance machines. We look ahead with the goal of providing our customers even faster and more effective service, always keeping quality and innovation at the core of our business.
5. Focusing on the future
With the same curious and bold spirit as our founder Galdino Candiotto, who designed the first prototype filling machine for the family-run dairy in 1971, we continue to believe in technical and technological research.
Amid machine intelligence and automation, virtual simulations and digital innovations, Galdi specialists are already working towards the future.
A year full of ambitious challenges awaits us, but also special occasions to celebrate this amazing milestone together.
