We are committed not only to developing and building safe packaging machines that comply with international standards, but also to ensuring that our packaging lines are completely safe.

Thanks to our dedicated team - made up of Sales Engineer, Project Manager and System Integrator - we assist customers in the installation of complete lines, by providing whatever support is needed to create a safe and efficient environment. Before, during and after installation!

As packaging line manufacturers, we carry out and coordinate projects from layout to commissioning.

This way, not only do we have full control during the development stage, but we can also offer our customers all-round support, even when it comes to safety.

Starting with the layout, we strive to meet customer needs, always considering site specifics, by prioritising:

• Ergonomics: to make operations safer, more comfortable and efficient for machine operators and maintenance staff
• Packaging line safety: compliance with the EU Directive on Machinery, plus risk analysis

All through the development stage, we are constantly in touch with the customer and all (internal and external) technical professionals.

Galdi cooperates with the customer's safety managers and consultants, and is directly involved in assessing safety and security criteria, personnel and certification requirements, providing support for documentation (DUVRI in Italy) and detailed reporting.

Galdi safety specialists also oversee the transport, handling and installation stages, managing communication and coordinating on-site operations.

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our packaging lines through careful and thorough risk analysis and solution assessment.

Each project is analysed by a Galdi System Integrator, who discusses details with designers, suppliers and internal safety specialists.

The safety of Galdi packaging lines is further guaranteed by:

• Equipment safety analysis: all packaging line machinery we manufacture at Galdi is designed to comply with the latest safety standards and validated by our in-house Product Certification Manager. In the case of third-party equipment, Galdi's approach is to verify their suitability in advance, by analysing 3D drawings, visiting and discussing details with producers, consulting with safety experts and conducting inspections during testing

• Layout validation: done with the support of external safety experts (e.g.: structural engineers for calculations of all key complementary elements, such as ad-hoc supporting structures)
• Obvious and residual risk analysis: Galdi's safety specialists conduct site visits to analyse the safety of the packaging line in its entirety
