This story, which began with the resolve to launch liquid eggs in Gable Top cartons on the Mexican retail market, developed gradually, along with the growing consumers' demand and the desire to offer clients efficiency and reliability.
THE LIQUID EGG SUCCESS ON THE LATIN AMERICAN MARKET
PROAN's idea to introduce packaged liquid egg for family consumption turned into a success.
The 500 g white egg carton, used for traditional recipes, is the most popular product, together with the flavoured egg mix for scrambled eggs and cakes.
Eggs in Gable Top cartons - i.e. egg whites in 500 g and 1 kg cartons - were very well received by sportspersons and families, thanks largely to the packaging's ease of use and the hygienic safety ensured by pasteurisation.
After installing, in 2012, the first filler - model RG250UCS -, in 2017 PROAN decided to invest in a new packaging machine, this time model RG270UCS, thus doubling production from 20-30,000 to 50-60,000 cartons a day.

The marketing campaign that preceded the launch of carton-packaged liquid eggs focused on the importance of egg consumption for human health, as they are rich in proteins and low in fat.
The decision to use Gable Top cartons was born of the need to offer consumers an innovative, practical, appealing and sustainable packaging, in line with modern lifestyles.
Eco Design also plays an important role in terms of environmental protection. The design philosophy behind model RG270UCS has made it possible to reduce energy consumption and waste.
An example is the volumetric doser, which minimizes carton waste at every production start.
